What was the highlight of Shilla Stay Guro
Great place, but rather limited space
The property is in a good location, though a bit far from the historical centre, with access to both the subway and quite a few busses. There were many great places where one can eat or go shopping, as well as cherry blossom alleyways for pedestrians along the canal. The bed was comfortable, the view from the 21st floor (where our room was located) pretty good, the paid breakfast very delicious, and the staff friendly and helpful.
The room was quite small, and there were few places where we could store our clothing/luggage. We had to get a bit creative, and in the end made it work. The aircon was set up in such a way that we couldn’t lower the temperature in the room, though we caught quite a few really warm days. How they expect people to sleep in 24C is beyond me. We had to open the window quite often to cool down the room. Apparently they would allow the aircon to cool the rooms later on in the season, but not when we were there.

A great stay and decided to return for another 2 nights in Seoul.
The room was clean and comfortable. Love the location which was near the subway circle line and airport shuttle buses was at the door step. Breakfast was great!
Space was a bit small if you have to unpack your lugguage for two. Breakfast like most Korean hotel closed a bit too early by 10am. Would be great if it is extended to 11am.

Good
Every day, They clean the rooms thoroughly.The breakfast buffet turned out quite well for the price.The proximity to the subway station made it very easy to get around. There were plenty of restaurants and shopping centers in the vicinity, which was great. However, it was a bit crowded during rush hours, which was a little inconvenient.
All the staff members were very friendly in greeting the customers. However, I was not completely satisfied with my requests. I requested a heater because the air conditioning was too cold, but it broke down, and there were instances where items were not properly cleaned.
